EMILY'S ANGELS GOLF TOURNAMENT

Just about 11 years ago Emily Miller was born to Randy and Kelly Miller.  Due to complications during childbirth, Emily was inflicted with Cerebral Palsy.  Doctors and other “experts” were not optimistic. They felt Emily would never walk, talk, or have any quality of life.
Kelly and Randy were not prepared to accept that outcome and took Emily home. Doing as much research as possible, they found a facility in Pontiac, Michigan that specializes in therapy for children with Cerebral Palsy called Europeds. Bottom line, over the past 8 years since Emily started to go to Europeds, she has made remarkable progress.  Unfortunately, due to the fact that Europeds is not considered any different than therapy given in Minnesota, Randy and Kelly’s insurance will not pay for the specialized therapy provided by Europeds. So 9 years ago, my father (Emily’s grandfather) started a fundraising golf tournament to help pay for
Emily’s treatment at Europeds.

While we make a nominal amount of money on the golf outing itself, our real money source is our live and silent auction following the golf tournament. Every year we have a number of wonderful prizes donated by people and organizations that want to help Emily. This year will be no exception.
Last year we raised enough to send Emily to Europeds at our tournament and auction. We would like to meet or exceed last years total this year. Our tournament and auction will be held on Friday, September 17th at Daytona Golf Course. We promise you that anything you donate will be used to maximize the benefit to Emily.

If you find that you cannot donate a prize but would like to sponsor a golf hole, our hole sponsorship only costs $100.

We appreciate your generosity.

Sincerely,
